This year the Penryn Camera Club commandeered a whole room for our Christmas meal at Falmouth Golf Club. This was a repeat of last year as the venue and food were both so tasty. That was not a mistake as once again we enjoyed a variety of dishes, none of which were substandard. The chocolate mousse with raspberry sauce is one of the spread's standout dishes.
We enjoyed a raffle with prizes from fine wine to photographic equipment and enough to cover a large part of the room. A big thank you to Karen Burton, Wendy Bate and their helpers for such an enjoyable end to the year.
Looking towards 2023 (already!) we have a packed schedule from January 5th - April 27th when we exchange clubhouse meetings for our external summer events. Critique evenings, formal competitions, training and teaching sessions, battles and guest speakers - it would be easier to list what is not happening!
