 As you will know we have had our Penryn Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant ongoing this week with the remaining events as below. Our members have been busy covering the events for Penryn Town Council and so I thought I would give you a taste of what we’ve been up to so far !

 The all-new “Freedom” competition is back with members voting for their favourite image. Send your 1600 pixel x 1200 Pixel max image – OPEN subject to Victor, TITLE them and add YOUR NAME please . e.g. “Flower-AN Other”

 • Penryn Jubilee Celebrations – Monday 30th May to Saturday 4th June. Below you will see the latest programme along with the allocated photographers. If I have anything wrong or if you wish to join in please let me know. PCC members are still welcome to join in !

 SATURDAY 4th June – Jubilee Town Carnival at 6.30pm
 7pm – Marine Town Band, Boys and Girls Brigade and Embrace dance and majorettes. Join in with prizes for best entries.

 SUNDAY 5th June – Party In The Park at 1pm till 5pm Trelawney Park
 Mayor opens at 1pm followed by Scruffy Mutts dance group.
 Punch & Judy 1.30 and 3pm “Motown Pirates” from 1.30pm “The Qwest” from 3.30pm Refreshments available or bring your own picnic.

 • PCC Annual Awards & Celebration Dinner – Saturday 25th June – 5.30pm for 6pm
 Why not enjoy a fabulous evening together, celebrating our splendid achievements for 2022! The menu sent out by Karen shows three choices from each 2 or 3 courses so please advise Karen if you are coming and pay the appropriate fee to our bank account.

 The CPA Website has been updated and many of the older competition results (such as Charles Hosken) are now available in the “ARCHIVE” section. Here’s the (safe) link for you: http://cornwall-photographic-alliance.co.uk/

 30th May CPA Meeting
 Minutes from the last meeting have been sent out to CPA Reps and a précis is as follows

 CPA Club Membership remains at £18
 Charles Hosken and Wildlife Competitions – Will be £1 per entry and members can enter up to 6 images for either competition.
 Nature and Wildlife booked - To be held in St John’s Hall, St Austell
 Website Updated – All members happy with changes
 Future Events - Action Bill Hall to approach Adrian & Jane Lines ref Talk
 EGM and AGM – Action Bill Hall to book for a July date in Carnon Downs
