As you may know, the Penryn Camera Club had no formal meeting this week. Instead, our members have been busy covering the Penryn Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant for Penryn Town Council. Although we assigned specific members to events (to ensure coverage) in reality many members attended most events. We have all captured some wonderful images.
We shocked some newer members by allocating them “professional” duties throughout the events. They did an excellent job of preparing and taking photographs. This does show that when we are pushed a little bit we can all do well. The Penryn Camera Club prides itself on its inclusivity which our newer members enjoyed in full this week.
Next week, on Friday for a change, we have a treat for our female members as we visit the Falmouth RNLI Lifeboat station. The station is the busiest in Cornwall so we hope there will be a lifeboat (and crew!) to photograph during our visit.
If you would like to join this superactive friendly club, start via our website. Look for the Contact Us form in the top menu bar. Our amiable members have all photographic abilities and cover all age ranges so you are sure to fit in.
