PCC News of the Week:

  1. Due to the continuing uncertainly around Covid etc, it has been decided to postpone the planned AGM for a few weeks until we have more clarity.

  3. Some of you may have wondered about the differences between the Photographic Alliance of Gt Britain (PAGB) and the Royal Photographic Society (RPS) awards and distinctions. If you want to know more or are considering applying this free online talk may be useful to you. Meetings

  1. Last night’s meeting looked at the latest Lockdown entries for Construction / Roadworks with quite a different approach from members. All members gave their critique to one of the images and finally the results were announced with Victor coming first and a tie between Karen and Eve for a joint second place and Wendy with third. Well done to everyone for a very varied approach.

  2. Next week’s Zoom, will be a review of the “Open” category Lockdown competition.

Competition News

  1. For next week’s competition on the 15th April the subject is “Open” so entries can be manipulated in any way using photo editing software and need to be sent in to our chairman by midday 14th April latest.

  2. Coming up on the 29th we have the Image of the Year – Colour, Black and White and Off- Camera (no manipulation) and the judge is an ex-Penryn CC member Kevin Leah
