  1. Annual General Meeting – Next Thursday 5th August at The Space – 7.30 pm sharp. Simultaneous virtual Zoom Meeting will also be available for members not able to attend.

  2. Great turn out for the Cream Tea last Saturday – excellent “craic” all round! Thanks for your support.

  3. Victor has offered to get your photos laser printed at “Booths the Printers” so if get your FULL SIZE images to him on a memory stick he will do the rest.

  4. Alternatively you can use the company I use which is DS Colour Labs. Their “Lustre” is excellent and if you upload before midday you should get the prints back the next day. Cream Tea last Saturday

Meetings

  1. Thursday 5th August is our ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING at The Space at 7.30pm sharp. This meeting is at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances and will be simultaneously held as a VIRTUAL ZOOM MEETING in order to maximise attendance. This meeting is a vital part of our club programme so please give it No 1 priority and attend whichever way you can.

  2. Thursday 12th August we have a practical evening at The Space at 7.30pm where we will be demonstrating and practicing Print Mounting. If you want to mount your own work please bring the appropriate PRINTS sized A3 or A4 to suit the pre-cut mounts.

  3. Summer Meet-Up Picnic will be at Boscawen Fields in the “No Dogs” picnic field on SUNDAY 15th August at 1pm.There are a couple of picnic tables there and I will bring a portable large table, but please bring your own camping chairs, picnic rugs etc. Weather Permitting !!

Competitions.

  1. IMPORTANT NOTE – Due to time constraints for Victor, Zoom competition entries will need to be handed by MIDDAY on TUESDAYS in future please folks.

  2. Well done to this week’s competitors and especially the winner Ann Glinn along with the runner up Raymond and third placed Wendy.

  3. The next competition will be 12th August – entries by TUESDAY Midday 10th August - the subject is “Bridges OR Towers”.

  • Sunday 15th August 1pm – Summer Picnic at Boscawen fields, Falmouth

  • Saturday 28th August 10am – 5pm – Penryn Fair Day – PCC Exhibition in the Town Hall. Preparation and set-up Friday 27th August .

  • Saturday 25th September - Penryn WI Art & Craft Fair – Temperance Hall - Penryn CC members can display and sell work.

  • 11th September – CPA 50th Anniversary celebration – Carnon Downs Community Hall 4pm till late

  • 17th September hand-in for 20th November 2021 CPA Nature & Wildlife Competition
