Newsletter #76 27th August 2021

Editor - Derek Godridge PCC News of the Week:

  1. It was nice to see so many of you last night, so thanks for turning out and labelling/velcroing your prints for Fair Day. We now just need some of you to support us THIS EVENING at 6.30pm to help out at the Town Hall assembling the display stands and arranging the prints.

  2. Don’t forget the club needs VOLUNTEERS to assist in the Town Hall on SATURDAY 28th September and to talk to visitors and hopefully recruit new PCC members. The club will arrange a ROTA so you won’t have to be there all day.

  3. I do have a couple of people who have asked me to book a ticket for the CPA 50th Anniversary, but if there are any more just email me. You will then have access to your FREE CREAM TEA. Or alternatively use the link to book your own.

climbing friends I met at Carn Brea

1. Further to last week’s storyline regarding Charlie and his climbing friends I met at Carn Brea, well Charlie did talk to the entire group and said they would be delighted to be included in our Newsletter and would love to have a copy. Here I have included one of the photos I took of them. Charlie also said how welcoming the Cornish people were that they met and thanked me for the images.

Cheers for now Derek
