Editor - Derek Godridge PCC News of the Week:

  1. Penryn Fair Day was a real success for PCC and it was great to see so many of you supporting our Exhibition and engaging with the general public. For those of you who couldn’t make it, there is a nice spread of photos on our Facebook page

  2. Thanks to your efforts we may well have a new member or two!

  3. Big WELCOME to our three new members Alicia, Philip and Dee, just take it slowly as there is a lot to take in

  4. If any more of you need a ticket a ticket for the CPA 50th Anniversary on 11th SEPTEMBER just let me know. You can still book yourself using the link.


  1. NEW SEASON – Our first meeting of the new season was well supported with our new members taking the plunge, but if you didn’t make it please ensure you contact Chris Hamshaw in order to pay your fees to enable you to enter competitions. It’s £20 up until the new year and if we are still clear of Covid restrictions and meeting physically, another £15 in the new year.

  2. Last night’s meeting was a meet and greet and most importantly it was our Awards presentation, so once again congratulations to all the winners and runners up. Special thanks to Mandy and Victor for getting all the quality certificates to the correct people !

  3. Next week will be a Q & A session on any subject so have your questions ready!!

  4. PCC 2021-2022 Programmes are now available and can be obtained from Victor.


1. The next Club competition ENTRY HAND-IN is only a couple of weeks away on Thursday 16th September, so start preparing those images:

  • President’s Cup (Open Subject) is 1 print colour or mono + 1 digital colour or mono + 1 off camera with NO editing only straightening and mild cropping allowed

  • Ken Maynard (anything living but NO humans or flowers - however fungi is ok. 1 print colour or mono + 1 digital colour or mono + 1 off camera (as above)

  • Judging on Thursday 14th October.

  • 17th September hand-in for 20th November 2021 CPA Nature & Wildlife Competition. NB You upload your 6 images max. to and give your 50p/images payment to our treasurer Chris
