PCC News

Well bit of a quiet week this week from Club Members so I guess we are just saving our energy whilst watching Wimbledon! Personally, I’ve had the dreaded Covid and so have been isolating at my PC, working on some older images. Of particular note is brushing up some of my Photoshop (Elements) skills to enable me to demonstrate some slightly different ones for you later in the year (October).

I enclose a couple of images to give you a flavor of the techniques I have devised to address some of the typical issues we face. Chromatic aberration is something that many lenses demonstrate to a greater or lesser degree and as I personally cannot justify walking around with very expensive and heavy lenses, I have had to learn how to nullify some of their flaws by working in Photoshop Elements. (by the way the edited one is the lower one – haha)
