PCC News Karen Burton – PCC Purdey’s Tea Treat ! Image Credits: Karen & Alan Burton
The sun shone for us once again for our Cream Tea at Purdy’s where Lynne and Tim our hosts truly looked after us as we had the place to ourselves! It is such a beautiful old farm house with lots of land.
The cream teas are just delicious and the quiche was very tasty too by all accounts.
Wonderful to have Ann join us after recuperating from her heart operation and she looked the picture of health!! Our President Geoffrey did a little "welcome back" presentation to Ann which was quite emotional. It was also great to see Agnes who accompanied Geoffrey too!
It was lovely to meet our “satellite” member and Wendy's son Phillip, along with his wife Keely. I am so happy to say that it was also great to see Jane Goldsworthy join us.
A wonderful way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon with friends and family.
I will be organising another one on a Saturday end of September.
In the meantime, enjoy Falmouth Week!
