PCC News –

Last night’s meeting went off well as we welcomed the new members and talked about some of the club competitions and rules along with information regarding the upcoming Cornwall Photographic Alliance (CPA) nature and wildlife competition (see below).

It was also hand-in time for the first of our competitions of the year, the President’s Cup and the Ken Maynard Trophy for strictly “anything living – except humans” category.

Maru then did a great job of presenting two of the Western Counties Photographic Federation (WCPF) competition entries for both the Knightshayes Trophy and the Kingswood Salver. It enabled members to have a good understanding of the type and quality of entries which can be expected of WCPF competitions. Members were then advised of some of the different roles played by the CPA and the WCPF, the rules around the above the two referenced competitions and what to look for when submitting entries.
