Newsletter NL133 – 7th October 2022

Editor - Derek Godridge and contributions from the team: PCC News –

  • Once we had resolved some slight hiccups last night trying to get our hybrid Zoom meeting up and running, Kevin Leah gave us a great show of his current work, his work in progress and some very useful ideas for creating our own. In addition Kevin walked us through some of his Photoshop workflow and some “How To” hints and tips around some typical tasks we might want to do ourselves. These included changing a colour, straightening an image, cloning parts of the image, expanding the area of the photo, using the content-aware function to blend areas of the image, viewing photos side by side, using Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) etc etc. After answering several questions from members we thanked him in the usual way before we all went off into the night along with our creative thoughts!

  • The social gathering at the Falmouth Golf Club last weekend went off very well as can be seen from the enclosed. Thanks to Karen once again for organizing everything.
