Newsletter NL147 – 13th January 2023

Editor - Derek Godridge and the team: PCC News :

Last night’s meeting went very well with a healthy number of members handing in their KF2 selections. However, if you were unable to be there due to illness etc, I’m sure Mandy would accommodate you sending your images to her via email.

The WCPF travelling Portfolio I presented was well received and we had some very perceptive critique comments from members. It was also interesting to see the scoring the prints had compared to the quality of the some of the prints close up. Maybe a reflection on the very short amount of time the judges/selectors have to score the work when judging.

All Charles Hosken digital images sent in by the members have been sent in to the organizer and will now be collated and sent for judging in time for the presentation on 11th February .

Some Musings: One of our lucky members is in the Street Photographer’s paradise of Cuba and many of us are pretty jealous (me!). I look forward to a show from Jeanette in the offing !! As this shot is already on Facebook Jeanette has kindly let me publish it.
