Editor - Derek Godridge and the team: PCC News :

Last night’s meeting was a really informative presentation from our member Mike Halsey. He talked about the various types of light from reflected to refracted and showed some daylight images to illustrate the point. In the second half, Mike went on to give a practical demonstration of a simple studio set-up and even managed to persuade our newest member Samantha to have her portrait taken!

All in all, it was a brilliant way of easing the newer members into thinking about trying studio portraiture and eliminating the fear by simplifying the process. A big THANK YOU to Mike for all his efforts in setting up the portable studio and the very helpful advice!
