On Saturday we ventured to the Japanese Gardens at St Mawgan. It was a delightfully photogenic village and the gardens were tranquil and extensive. We started with a mouch-about (lost some members in the local craft shop) then had a scrumptious meal at The Falcon. Cleared plates all around. A few hundred yards to walk to enjoy the nooks and crannies littering the Japanese garden. Loads of different things to see, benches to sit and contemplate and “interesting things” to photograph. Members finished off with melt-in-the-mouth scones (with jam, cream and a MUG of tea) in the local cafe. Ideal.
