The Penryn Camera Club had our first online “Freedom” (not locked down) competition this week. It was a close-fought battle; In joint third with 1 point; Jeanette, Paul, Derek, Ray, Mandy and Claire D. In joint second with 2 points; Liz and Wendy. With Claire T and Victor joint winners, with 4 points. Which would you have voted for? All images are shown on our Facebook page; https://www.facebook.com/PenrynCC/

Friday we braved a stormy sky (it didn’t rain) for a visit to the Falmouth RNLI Station. Fabulous visit to this public-funded facility, loads of info and facts, and some great pictures. Strange fact; They do not even get VAT relief on their fuel!! so they are always looking for donations to help save those in need.

We ended up at The Mariners for lunch - generous size portions quickly and happily delivered. Wine and alcohol-free drinks flowed and we have found yet another place to add to our repeat-visits agenda. Next week look for us at the Falmouth Sea shanty weekend.

NB; Our website is down at the moment. The Nerds are working flat out and are on bread and dripping until service is restored.
