After a short chance to chat among ourselves while we found the laptop power supply (it had escaped the building and was hiding in deepest Penryn!) Colin Higgs launched into his presentation. Enhancing his planned talk on landscapes, Colin brought 90 favorite images.

Much laughter and enjoyment ensued as Colin’s easy interactive style had club members providing almost as much information on some images as Colin himself. Wendy appeared to know the several hundred Helston Flora dancers individually and could spot the location of the photographs in Helston from the smallest clue.

Shoots at dawn, close-ups of Trevithick day, landscapes, storm shots, finger signposts, decaying buildings and North Coast sunsets - a varied collection each with a story and each taken expertly. Thank you Colin for another excellent evening.

Next week we will have the results from three categories in our formal Ken Farnell 1 competition. Judge Bruce Hobbs will reveal the three category and competition overall winners.

You are welcome to join us (Thursdays, 19:30, The Penryn Athletic Football Club). You can contact us via our website penryncameraclub.co.uk. Where you can see past competitions and fun days out images.
