Thursday some of the Penryn Camera club met at the Maritime Museum in Falmouth to take “Blue Hour” shots of the harbour. We started with hot chocolate (AND marshmallows AND cream) to warm us up on a chilly evening. Fortified we draped ourselves around the museum awaiting, in vain, a glorious sunset. Regrettably that night the clouds remained depressingly grey and the only way to see sunset colours was in post-editing!

Sunday 15th we are off to United Downs Raceway where, hopefully, there will be spectacular crashes and many photo-worthy activities on the track. Next Thursday sees us heading off to Porthleven for a fish-and-chip upper and, no doubt, some harbour shots. Hopefully, the forecast is wrong and we will stay dry.

If you would like to join us on our summer trips, start via our website and look for the Contact Us form on the top menu bar. Don’t like links? Google; Penryn Camera Club.
