85 photographs jostled for a place in our penultimate competition, the Ken Farnell #3. As usual, the competition was fierce as our photographers captured our environment in a variety of fascinating and unique ways. Mark Walker took on the task of judging apples against walnuts. As usual, Mark was up to the task and included his thoughts on the merits (or otherwise!) of each image. Marks easy-going style made us laugh until our sides hurt!

The hand-in deadline for our final competition of the season, the renowned "Image of the Year," is next Thursday. Only photographs submitted in earlier competitions this year are eligible, which raises the entry bar. We hope you've been keeping up with (and enjoying) our competitions on Facebook.com/PenrynCC/ or on our website https://www.penryncameraclub.org.uk.

The evening will conclude with a Photoshop tutorial. Remember the phrase “A photograph cannot lie” Well …..! NB; We do have a section “out of the camera” in each of our competitions so members who don’t like to edit have an equal chance of winning.

If you would like to join us and enter our competitions or join our social life start via our website and look for the Contact Us form on the top menu bar. Don’t like links? Google; Penryn Camera Club.
