The Penryn Camera Club trekked from the South Coast to the North Coast (OK, 12 miles) to Portreath to photograph a North Coast sunset. 100% grey clouds with sea mist rolling in and a chill-you-to-the-bone wind! A few of the group (with waterproof cameras??) braved the beach and photographed the surfers. Their results are awaited.

The majority looked around and, with an unspoken agreement, scampered toward The Atlantic Cafe. A bubbly waitress joined in with the laughter and banter and efficiently served a variety of cakes and beverages. Their food menu looked delicious so we will be returning for a meal one evening this summer. Wendy has already picked her meal!

No formal meeting next week as it is the Penryn Jubilee week. Many members will be photographing a variety of events throughout the week. If you see us (we have a black-and-white badge with a camera and our club name) feel free to chat with us. We love a lively natter, and who knows, you may find a new club to join, any age and ability are welcome.
