Note from Paul; It is hard to make an AGM exciting so I have touched on the event but mostly looked back over the last year. I think the images have been great, the company superb and I look forward to Thursday evenings. Good luck to everybody as we enter our 2021/22 season. Best, Paul

This week Penryn Camera Club held its AGM. Thanks partly to pre-work by the committee and particularly our secretary we cantered through the annual reports. (Summary; An active and healthy club). The committee was re-elected by the membership and we filled two roles, created by members standing down.

If you have been thinking of joining us now is a great time to do so as we enter our 2021/22 season in September. We reset all competition scores to zero and everybody has an equal chance to sparkle. This includes our eight newcomers who have been learning lots, laughing frequently and scoring highly in our fun competitions.

The attached image is a screenshot of our recent winning images over our last 37 fun competitions ~ you can see these full-screen on our website. This montage represents many members, including our neophytes, as we kept our spirits up through Covid.

If you would like to join this superactive friendly club, start via our website. Look for the Contact Us form on the top menu bar. Our amiable members have all photographic abilities, so you are sure to fit in. Don’t like links? Google; Penryn Camera Club.
