The varying weather of late has not stopped members of the Penryn Camera Club getting out and about! Recently a number of our members went east in the county to Roche Rock, near St Austell for a lovely day out with their cameras. Blessed with good weather – between the light showers! – the conditions gave beautiful blue skies, with white fluffy cloud formations and not too much sun – all the conditions that cn make for perfect phots. After lunch they went on to Wheal Martyn Clay works and then of course the obligatory cream tea followed in the love cafeteria there. So we are expecting to see some great images from those guys when our next season starts in September! A few days later more of our members ventured even further afield to North Devon and Exmoor for a field trip. The morning allowed some decent weather for photography of the stunning local landscape and even though the rain returned in the afternoon it was deemed a good day by all involved. Preparations have begun for our annual exhibition in Penryn Week in the Town Hall. Come and see us there from the 11th to 13th of July. www.penryncameraclub.org.uk.
