We had another interesting show from Mark Quilter last night with great examples of his work from the specific areas of Dartmoor and Maenporth Beach (including the dogs of course!).

We’d like to thank Mark for stepping in at the last minute due to the unforeseen illness of a couple of our “Venice” lady members who were unable to proceed with their own show. However, I am assured that they WILL be back !
Thanks also to everyone who brought their work along to enter the Image(s) of the Year and just a note that the Selection Team will be meeting on Saturday to choose the set of work to represent us in the upcoming CPA Inter-Club Competition in May (Details below).

April 4th Barbara Jenkins is coming to visit- For a presentation evening. o We will be holding a raffle that evening so please donate any prizes you may have. We would be very grateful!
Friday May 24th is going to be an event held at Falmouth Court, Draceana Avenue, Falmouth. 6.30pm till 8.00pm. o I would like some volunteers to bring some images along to show or put some digitals on a memory stick to show our lovely residents. Please advise if you are interested in helping make a lovely evening to show our talents and make a connection to the community.

Jan Godridge had over 400,000 views with this image !!!
Jan says “When we had a new gas fire fitted, we were so impressed with the installation that I decided to give the company some good feedback. As I went to take a photo of the fire in action, Pippa our Jack Russell wandered in and sprawled out to enjoy the warmth, giving her seal of approval too. I included this image with my review of the company. Google says that up to date I have reached almost 500k views! Now if I had been on commission .....??!!
