PCC News

Our AGM

It was really great to see so many members last night along with our invited guests, thanks so much for supporting YOUR club. All the Committee Members made their comprehensive reports prior to standing down as required by our procedure followed by the resignation of two of our stalwarts Chris Hamshaw and Maru Correa-Cano. They were warmly thanked with the members’ applause and the President gave them both ‘Thank You’ cards and a hug!

The new Committee members were then voted in and there followed a short anxious wait before our two new replacement members were duly voted in – Julie Bowyer as Secretary and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Smith as our new Treasurer. The sighs of relief were almost audible!

In her speech our Chair Wendy welcomed our new Committee members, thanked all the Committee for their vital cooperation and support through some difficult times this last year and looked forward to a great Summer Season Programme which Karen is planning for us all.
