Black Dog

This post shows how I took an image of a dog in the garden and edited it to win the Ken Farnell 2 print competition. I have written a step-by-step actions list in the members section called Black Dog. https://www.penryncameraclub.co.uk/post/black-dog-by-lizzie

I felt the original image lacked drama, and much of the grass was just distracting.

By isolating the dog, removing the background and cropping I was able to create an image I was much happier with.

The steps (shown in the members section) are not difficult but certainly help to bring out the best in the original image.
