Editor - Derek Godridge and the team:

PCC News:

Those of you who couldn’t make it last night missed out on our brilliant show of KF3 prints and digital images. We saw an excellent range of subject matter of very high quality and as Kevin said many of the non-placed photos could well have gained “Commended” or “Highly Commended” placings. Another great job by Kevin with all the images posted over on our Facebook Page here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/733899996650227

Image of the Year Hand-In – Thursday 23rd March!

Yes although we have only just had judging of the KF3 entries it’s time already for you to select your entries for our prestigious final competition of the year!

  1. We MUST have seen the image THIS year in any of the official Club competitions including President’s Cup, Ken Maynard Trophy or any of the Ken Farnell KF1, 2 or 3.

  2. Additionally you may enter ANY image which has been selected to represent the club in any of THIS year’s Inter-Club Competitions (Battles)

  3. NB Images from any more informal “fun” competitions such as Amanda’s “Lucky Dip” etc are NOT acceptable. If in doubt please ASK Amanda.

The categories are Print, Digital and Off Camera with the subject OPEN along with the standard club-specified sizing and titling. Best of luck to everyone.

Some Musings: • Quote of the Week: “Photography is about finding out what can happen in the frame. When you put four edges around some facts, you change those facts.” Gary Winogrand (street photographer)
