Editor - Derek Godridge and the team:

PCC News:

Well what a show our new member Samantha Miller put on for us last Thursday! In the first half she told us a lot about the Falkland Islands’ history, it’s people, along with facts about how they live their lives, get around the islands and basically just cope with the weather!

Falkland Islands’ history 1

Samantha is an enthusiastic Wildlife photographer and so in the second half we were treated to some truly spectacular photos of the wildlife of the Falklands. Needless to say penguins featured very highly, but as Samantha mentioned they just have such different characters that you could literally spend all day getting different interactions and expressions.

Falkland Islands’ history 2

It was a truly revealing portrait of The Falkland Islands and it left made many of us wishing it was closer so that we could also enjoy spending time in this amazing place. Thank you so much and we look forward to more from Samantha next season.
