PCC Social News this week:
Members had a great day out at Screech Owl Sanctuary last weekend where Karen had arranged a designated “Meet the Owls” for us to get up and personal.
We all then toddled off to the main ring where a free-flying display was in progress and we all desperately tried to capture some decent flight pictures without a busy background. It’s not easy because the Owls mainly fly close to the ground in order to be able to hear the creatures they hunt. We were told that a barn owl can hear the heartbeat of a vole whilst in flight - Spot the owl ! Loads more photos on our Facebook page.

Other Musings:
If you want to see more of our Event Photos, there are loads (and short vids) on our Facebook page below – don’t forget this is a Private Group so if you’ve not joined yet just send a message: https://www.facebook.com/groups/penryncameraclub
Just a NOTE regarding the Key Tags that I handed out with the Pen Drives last Monday. I stupidly attached the Tags to the Drives, but you will need to take them off to enable you to slide the name card insert out in order to write your PCC Club number down!
PCC Meetings Pre-Season Informative Meeting Monday 3rd July
Thanks to all those members who made it to the meeting. As we want to make sure everyone has their allocated Pen/Thumb Drive and a copy of this year’s programme, we will be repeating the meeting for you shortly.
In the meantime, the 2023-24 Programme is on our website. https://www.penryncameraclub.co.uk/progamme
